I grew up in Southern West Virginia in the now mergered, Appalachian Council. I was a member of Hytone Lodge 416. I am
now a Vigil Honor member of Chi-Hoota-Wei 617. The lodge is a merger of Hytone 416, Adjudimo 210, and Wachu Menetopolis 475.
I was the first Lay Advisor and now serve as the Lodge Associate Advisor. I served as Hytone lodge chief in 1976.
At the 1976 EC-6B conclave I was elected to serve as section chief. I have attend and served on the staff of several NOACs
and many Jamborees. I really got into trading at the 1977 Pre-NOAC traderee. I have been hooked ever since.
I collect West Virginia OA, West Virginia CSP / SAP's, and West Virginia and Ohio Conclaves. (See my need lists)

I am an 8th science teacher at Mount View Middle School in Welch, West Virginia. I am the President Elect of the
West Virginia Science Teacher's Association.
I also enjoy Amateur "ham" radio. I hold an Extra Class license. My call is WV8ED. I can be found on www.qrz.com by looking up my call.
I am an Eagle Scout and a former member of the Executive Board of the Buckskin Council. I have served on the staff of
several NOAC's. The last time was 2002 where I worked with the communications staff of NOAC Radio. I did the morning show.
I have also attended and served on the staff of several jamborees. In 97 and 2001 I did remote broadcasts for QBSA radio.
